The first video has been submitted and it is E.T. Comes Back for the Apple II.

As suggested, all videos are submitted as PurrfectTrio.

ET Comes Back done by Roja Calor/Captain Caliente

Hello

While Tsunao mentioned in the other thread that you can submit videos as PurrfectTrio, he probably wasn aware that this will create a problem with the way our database currently works.
So could you please create an account for each of you? It will save us alot of headaches :)
Once the accounts have been created, post the usernames in here, so i can add each of them to the longplayer database - that way you have access to the Submission Status page.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but thats the only way :)
P
Okay. Just went ahead and didzit. Usernames are Azul Fria, Roja Calor, Kage Negra, and Yushira. Also put in the replacement txt file showing Roja Calor as the player.
ScHlAuChi
All of you have access to the submission page now.
So whenever you record something, add it there.

I also have some bad news - E.T. was declined - it was in the wrong resolution.
For Apple 2, please contact georgc3, he has done some Apple 2 longplays already and can probably help you to get it right:

If there is any questions, just visit our chat and ask us beforehand, this will prevent that we decline more longplays :)

PurrfectTrio, If you are playing apple II games using an Applewin emulator and recording with either camtasia studios or recording with Virtual Dub. The correct resolution should be 560 X 384. 640 X 208 is the wrong res. It won't get accepted if you record at the wrong resolution. Fraps does not work with Apple II emulator, applewin. You'll need to use either Camtasia or Virtual Dub to record. I recommend that you use Virtual Dub to record since it's a freeware alternative and locks in a 60 fps recording.

Visit this site on instructions for game recording with Virtual Dub except, the codec you need to record is a lossless codec like TSCC or Lagarith Lossless Codec. But I recommend using Lagarith Lossless Codec since it's the best lossless compression best for video editing. When you're happen with the final product after editing in virtual dub, then I use TSCC and put the settings to faster compression.

If you are recording with virtual dub on Windows Vista, 7 or new, you'll need to download the Screen Capture Driver to perfectly record at 60 fps or any frame rate you like:

Uploading Punch Out for the Arcade. The game is technically beaten after beating Mr. Sandman but I added 2 bonus fights to show there is more after that fight.
The Dragon Princess is on the prowl.

Since I'm rerecording my Legend of Zelda (prototype) video which is on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGK1BwrkBZo), I'll be the one to come into IRC on either Friday or Saturday.

A small note on the PurrfectTrio account:

The PurrfectTrio username will still be used but now it's gonna be reserved for another purposes. We and some of our friends are budding game developers and can use the PT name to showcase games in development in another part of the forum (ex: Purrfect Sudoku: Rainbow edition, Purrfect Getaway [Breakout Clone], Project VnA [Vixy n Akira], and an undecided game name featuring our favorite boy toy that posts here too [you know who you are ^v^] who will also be featured as an enemy boss in Project VnA as well.

How come you are a trio and there is four of y'all??

also you have nice faqs on GameFAQs for the first generation consoles like APF and Channel F so why you do not record those?
A
Haven't thought about doing LP for those before.

As far as the trio goes. It was PurrfectTrio for a while then we let our little half-sister into the fold. The name just stuck just like Jackson 5 keeping its name when Randy joined them before they became the Jacksons.

Decided to scrap Vulcan Venture as I could not 1cc it like I did two years ago. It wouldn't make sense to submit my old 1cc since I'm not 13 anymore like I was when I did it.
R
How in the same hizzie did Bomberman for the NES not get an LP? I went ahead and did it myself. Also got Zoom for the Genesis in mind.
Y
Just did a LP on Pinball for the NES. Just played till game over.
The Dragon Princess is on the prowl.
K
Gave up on the Arcade version but I did take on TGCD version of Gradius 2 with better results.
NPI
Hopefully you played through all 4 difficulties. did you?
K
Nope just the default difficulty which was hell within itself. To top it off, lose all lives and the game is over. It didn't help much that I purposely lost the remaining lives after the ending nut I cut that part out except for the last death.
A
Finished doing a LP of Super Mario Deluxe for Gameboy Color but gonna make it a 2-parter. I finished part 1 which was the original game but later I'm gonna do part 2 which is the Lost Levels version.

Still got the other part of SMB Deluxe to do but there are plans to break in some more systems never touched on this site: NEC PC-FX, Intellivision, FM-7, PC-60, X1

For the PC-FX, a series of games in mind is the Anime Freak series which is more entertainment than gaming. There is also Miraculum - The Last Revelation, First Kiss, and Choushin Heiki Zeroigar that are good games. Queen of Queens is something bizarre that'll make you go "WTF is this?"
