@Corsaire , we are un-sure if he had stolen the videos from anywhere, he is russian as is Johnx895 (the guy who got cubex55 terminated), who we are told had put the video of longplays onto another website. We (me) are trying to find the website, but its russian, and is a little difficult to know.

Well, making him mod/admin is unrelated to the NES videos. At that time, we wouldn't know said NES (and maybe other files) were "stolen".

He/she/it was made mod/admin because he had super internets for big files (usually JonL and Geekmeister handle big files). I believe it was around when he did X360!Mass Effect.

I mean, you can HAVE "unlimited time" (y'know...your account doesn't have no time limit like it says at upload"), but in reality, your time limit is limited to probably less than 10 hours.
My Mario RPG tl;dw video is close to 10 hours, and this was BEFORE I somehow became partners. When I uploaded all of Golden Sun (17 hours), it was rejected due to time limit.

Good to know that JohnX895 is a good sport (too bad the fanboys of cubex55 think otherwise. Such the life on YouTube.) and only wanted the videos to be removed and not have the cubex55 channel go down the toilet. All he had to do was just send a private message to one of us here or on the cubex55 channel, supply the link to said site(s), and one of us would've deleted them no problem. ;)

Related?: Someone tried to give us ZX Speccy longplays, but they were from another site. Auto rejected. It didn't meet standards anyway (wasn't in MP4 or MKV format and ressy doubled.)

All of a sudden, Youtube is cracking down on channels that in their opinion, infringe. Had they passed a new rule? Or the new channel type was involved.

Well, I guess this explains why some of kireev20000 videos were speedruns and not longplays.

and the rivalry between me and kireev was short lived. Oh well. it was fun while it lasted.

I know it's my fault, but I can’t change anything now. I just wanted to expand the collection of site as much as possible. it was right goal, but with the wrong methods. I was never interested in fame or in something like that. The only reason I didn’t write the names of the authors in LP because it would cause too much questions. Like “who that guy” or “Why its not your name here” (at that time I wasn't an admin, just a new member). A few days ago I wrote personal message to JohnX895. In which i asked "if you wants, I can replace my video on your version with your name. This is not a problem". I waited for a day and received no answer, then just deleted the video for which he complained. Two days later happened that we have now.

In any case, I must apologize to those people whose LP's I submited to the site. I'm really sorry.

PS. For those who think that all my LP’s was stolen from someone. I made a lots of my own LP's.

One thing you can do is help clean up this mess, by finding out who the original authors of those videos are, contacting them and see if they want to have their video on the site - and if they do - reencode it with their name + reupload to archive etc...

There is alot that needs to be done - see it as a sort of penance for your deeds, and learn from it, to never do it again! :)

Oh wow. You realise fanboy is a derogatory term often used as an insult right? I think it's only natural that myself and other Cubex55 "fanboys" are pissed.
I don't care if this JohnX895 is a good sport. He went about getting those videos removed the wrong way. All it would've taken was one simple message but instead it seems he took the time to submit multiple copyright complaints against each video. Anyone who's ever uploaded more than a couple of videos on youtube knows that crap like that will shut a channel down. Didn't want Cubex55 taken down, MY ASS.

Hipoonios, have you tried addressing youtube help and administration regarding the channel?
Is it possible to lift the ban and having the channel reinstated without you having to go over the trouble of uploading everything again?

I kinda joked since my channel is Partners and there's no plan on how split the profits. >_> It would be just like IRC all over again.

I am one of the people who reported their account. Why? Because these clowns were being jackasses and banned me for having a opinion on an Amiga port. It was just an opinion you fan babies!
