Hello. I'd like to record longplays of a few obscure Atari 2600 games. I have the software required to emulate these games. But where are the rules that you need to follow to submit longplays ?

It's on a very long list of games that need recording We are still waiting on a suitable Amiga AGA emulator with robust recording features before tackling such games.

I think someone has been plagiarising longplays from this site and claiming them to be his own. It looks like some of the longplays he has, such as Resident Evil 2 by Ultimate, were taken from here. I'm 100% positive on that one at least. His account is

Metal Gear Solid (DEFINITELY not. RickyC didn't use Thermal on Mantis fight)
Metal Gear Solid 2 (we don't even have it. :3)
Metal Gear Solid 3 (no crawling or viewing shenanigans at the beginning)
Metal Gear Solid 4 (Ricky didn't play on Extreme difficulty.)
Devil May Cry (we only have DMC4)
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai (johtto didn't use Kamehameha to finish him off.)
Stolen:
Resident Evil (box navigation for Crests)
Resident Evil 2 (this is a definite)
Resident Evil 3 (definitely stolen: pause after getting First-Aid Spray at the beginning of the game)
Crash Bandicoot (no madman spin attack on fruits, man! Also: spin attack on 3rd box without finishing the bounce at the beginning.)
I will update more.
He isn't fooling anyone with the stolen videos.
At least he could come up with ORIGINAL video descriptions. >_>
huh ok i checked and resident evils 1 and 2 are attributade to ultima, crash bandicoot is attributed to RickyC, and resident evil 3 is attributed to spazbo.
It looks like he just set most of his videos to private. I'm guessing he's waiting until he knows it's safe to show the vids. I wonder how he caught on?
So, of all the users that plead guilty with longplay theft, kevin7010 is still not banned from Youtube. If you see another user uploading videos without prior consent, report the offender.
