Hi!
My name is Kepala Monyet and (obviously) I am new to the website.
Introduction.
I first knew of your website through your YouTube channel.
- Of course when you type in "Longplay" that's the #1 related search item.
Sharing experiences.
For myself, I always felt like I wanted to share my childhood gaming experience with others.
That's why I started recording my games, the only thing I had back then was a ION VCR2PC add-on.
Where I could hookup the console to the PC through USB.
Now I just record and upload 'em through PC.
I enjoy the games I'm playing.
Longplay is more of my thing, where there's gameplay with mistakes, deaths, failures and so on.
Sometimes with commentary. Also Speedrun (a few games) and highlights.
Even with games that I myself have failed to finish (Longplay with Game Over screen at the end).
PAL Region (Europe)
Also I experienced these games through the PAL region in Europe.
Where games were displayed in 4:3 on 50Hz (50fps?)

With longplays I noticed
a lot of people do this, naturally.
What I do to differentiate myself from other longplays is I upload these videos:
- in 1080p 60fps for NTSC
or in 1080p 50fps for PAL
- For console games I use "CRT-filter" with "curvature" like the screen was back in the day.
- For Gameboy games I actually make it look like an original Game Boy.
For example:
Super Mario Bros (Series) Longplay (PAL)

End of introduction!
