Player's Review

This is quite a short racing game, but also one of the worst I have ever played. You control a hover type craft similar to wipeout except here the craft controls quite badly. Largely due to a highly variable framerate which messes with your steering precision so you end up banging into walls all the time. The music does not seem all that fitting to the game either.

I play through Story mode on advanced difficulty. On standard difficulty you do not get the final track. instead you get the old now play on a harder level ending .. The objective is simply come first on all 6 tracks. You can set various tuning options on your craft but I think just leaving everything at standard works just fine and messing with them requires you having to get used to a new setup which will disrupt play. It is advisable to make use of the special options as they are made available though. Upon completion of advanced mode I show the beginner versions of the first 5 tracks (only advanced version of 6th track) in freeplay mode. I also show the different vehicles not available in story mode.

If you want to play this game I would recommend the Pal version of the game. It is slightly higher in resolution and and due to the lower framerate cap the framerate is not as variable making the craft much easier to control. It also has a better arcade style audio track more fitting to the game.
