Player's Review

From wiki:-
"Some time after the summer of 1945, a group of arms manufacturers throughout the Axis and Allied countries known as Avalon revealed to have played a large part in instigating combat in World War II which resulted in the boom of vehicle and weapons production. As soon as the war ended however, Avalon's riches started to decrease, resulting in their decision to keep the war going by using captured Axis and Allied planes against opposite nations military facilities.
A squadron of unified Allied and Axis planes are assembled aboard the USS Enterprise to deal with the newest products of Avalon and to crush the company for good."

The game consists of 6 levels and overall the game is quite short. You can start the game in various different planes with slightly different stats. Each one has its own cockpit view as well. The controls have a few different options to choose between arcade and sim style controls. I went with an Expert set just in case this was a difficulty level as well with some hidden away end game unlock associated with it as Sega games tend to do.

The game start of pretty easy but soon ramps up. There seems to only reallybe two stages that repeat and each time more difficult so not a lot of variation really. I throw away a life on the last level as I didn't have enough shield energy to safely make it through to the end and it saves replaying the whole level again. The game isn't much to look at but as it is quite short and generous with lives its not a bad pick up and play game. There might be more Ranks to achieve if destroying more targets than just the objective but i have not read that there is anything to unlock so I just kept to the objective to keep video length down.
