Player's Review

"Something very bizarre has happened in the fairy village. What has happened to change the inhabitants from chummy chappies into fluffy friends? They've only gone and kidnapped the beloved Mom of our angelic fairy heroes, Tam and Rit. She now lies captured in the top of the Maboots Tower waiting to be rescued. There's only one thing for it: Tam and Rit must put on the Rainbow shoes given to them by the Elder, and armed with the Rods of Sheesanomo, a gift from their Dad, must go and wop anything that moves on the head!"

Rodland has received a conversion to most of the 8/16bit home computers and each one was a great conversion for their respective platforms. One of those games you can play again and again whenever you switched machines. The game is not overly difficult and is as challenging as you want it to be. You can go for a highscore by collecting all the flowers and going for an Extra bonus or just bash all the enemies as soon as you see them and clear the level in seconds. The only real complaint about this version is the lack of in game music.

The Easyflash version has been played here which saves me from having to edit out any excessive loading. One annoying aspect of the game is that the game does not reset after the ending so you can not join the highscore table unless you die before the end! I tried an original tape and it does the same but maybe I should have used a highscore fixed crack..
