Feda takes place on planet Mildras Garz, a war-torn world that has suffered a thousand years of inter-species strife, referred to as the Millennium Nightmare. An evil empire called Balformia is now exercising either total control or hegemony over the entire planet, but liberation movements are springing up in various regions, including the defunct Arcadian Republic. The tale begins when a Balformian officer named Brian Stelbart refuses to participate in a terror attack against civilians.

Feda: The Emblem of Justice is a turn-based tactical RPG developed by Max Entertainment and published by Yanoman Games, it was originally released for the Super Famicom in 1994. A remake for the Sega Saturn, titled Feda Remake!, was released in 1996. Both games were released exclusively in Japan. The title "Feda" originates from Arabic "fedayeen" , a term used to refer to various military groups willing to sacrifice themselves in the name of greater good.

Many of Feda's elements are very similar to those of Shining Force, and both games share some of their programmers and character designers, but Feda was written in a much darker tone, with characters who speak and act in a less child-friendly manner. This game also has an alignment system, represented by nine Emblems. Combat decisions that the player makes will shift his reputation between Law, Neutral or Chaos alignments. The recruitable party members have different tolerance thresholds towards different alignments, and crossing this threshold will cause the character to permanently leave the party. Characters who are defeated in battle are taken prisoner by enemy forces and need to be rescued in a prison raid to remain playable. Depending on your Emblem, you can get four different endings.

This longplay includes two playthroughs, for Genocide (part 1) and Feda (part 2) Emblems, to show all characters and some difference in dialogues. Remaining endings and cutscenes were edited in at the end of the Feda playthrough. Most of the extraneous stuff, like map overviews, many extra battles, sprite animations and enemy stats were only shown in the Genocide playthrough.
