On-topic:
The latest game is Sonic Colors for the Wii and DS.
Wii version plays like Sonic Unleashed, minus [d]Fail[/d]Werehog segments.
DS version plays like Sonic Rush (might as well call it Sonic Rush 3)
The latest Sonic game in development is Sonic Generations, which is to be released on PS3, 360, 3DS, and PC if I remember correctly.
Gameplay in a nutshell is classic 2D (like Genesis Sonic games) and modern 3D (Sonic Unleashed)
When it will be released, I have no clue (I hardly follow it.)
