Hi everyone,
I’m planning to upload a longplay of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and
Geometry Dash, but I have a quick concern about copyright.
Since the game’s soundtrack (OST) plays naturally while I play, I’m worried that the licensed music might trigger a copyright claim or even get my video taken down. Even though the music is an essential part of the gaming experience, YouTube’s system can be quite strict.
Has anyone here experienced issues with longplays being flagged because of in-game music? Do publishers usually allow the soundtrack to stay as long as it's part of the gameplay, or should I be looking for a "Streamer Mode" to mute licensed tracks?
I’d love to hear your thoughts or experiences on this!
