Gaegujangi Kkachi (Unlicensed)

'Gaegujangi Kkachi is a Korean-made platform game starring Kkachi, the rebellious kid and the protagonist of Lee Hyun-se's cartoon A Daunting Team. In the original work Kkachi is a baseball player who opposes the dictatorial tendencies of the South Korean regimes of the 1980's.'

This is an unlicensed Korean platformer that shares many gameplay elements from Alex Kidd in Miracle World, especially the ability to use powerups, though unlike in the other game, the level order does not matter except for the final three. Difficulty in this game is really near impossible on real hardware especially at bosses, not to mention the terrible controls where it's easy to accidentally slip and fall into a gap.

For some reason I couldn't trigger the ending in the BizHawk build used to record this longplay, but a member from Bootleg Games Central forums/Discord sent me a savestate for an older build that is able to show the ending for this game accurately, which I attached at the end. Texts are in Korean though, same for the intro, I hope a fan translated patch will come sometime in the future.
