World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck (2 Player)
|
Player's Review
This is a 2-player longplay of World of Illusion, an actually really fun 1992 Disney-license platformer for the Genesis starring Mickey and Donald turning miners, starfish and who I assumed was Steve Martin into butterflies.
Its notable for having pretty innovative co-op mechanics for the time. In 2-player mode many stages are different from their respective 1-player Mickey/Donald stages--a mine cart must be operated by both players, players can (and must in some cases) lower a rope to bring up their partner from below, players can stand on each others shoulders to jump higher, and at times Mickey must yank Donald through narrow passageways on account of Donald's humongous behind.
