Barver Battle Saga - The Space Fighter (in english version is Brave Battle Saga - Legend of The Magic Warrior) is a unlicensed RPG from Genesis published by ChuanPu Technology Co. and released in 1996.
The overall game tells the story of a world that long ago was covered by high technology and magic. The company, well advanced, split into two groups due to their differences in ideas: humans and demons. Humans continued to build their civilization to use and improve the technology, while the demons began to build their own culture through magic. But the balance between these two elements did not last long, and over the years the technology has surpassed the magic and established itself as the dominant tool on the planet.
But through technology was built a powerful weapon of destruction, which by a quirk of fate, lost control and destroyed the entire world and its civilization. A thousand years have passed, whereupon the survivors discovered the remains of ancient technology. Humanity is once again on the path of making the same mistakes of the past. This world is controlled by four sacred temples, which control the forces of nature.
The Cruz Kingdom controls the power of water through the Temple of the Moon, the Kingdom of Galien emerges as a desert tropical controlling the Temple of the Sun, in polar regions have the Empire of Zak, a place where research and technological outcrop where it is located Temple of stars. Finally Lear's kingdom, which is protected by the Temple of the Winds
The game tells the story of a young man with blue hair named Tim, who is about to take a test to become a warrior, alongside other young people. But Tim's rivals do not have exactly a good nature and character and end up causing Tim, besides losing the test, is expelled from his village. With nowhere to go, Tim begins to wander the world until he meets a young and new adventures begin to form on the horizon. Other characters are Cherie, a mysterious young woman who is on a quest to find his real mother (she does not know), Celia, who is being attacked by demons, Ray, a strong guy from army of Zak Empire. There is also a fifth character who joins the group, Lucia (a witch, discover more about her watching the longplay). Besides these characters have some supporters, like the kings and queens of each kingdom, the suspect ambassador Ayrshire of Empire Zak (your avatar is based on Kefka from Final Fantasy VI, including laughter), Emperor of the demons that torment his daughter and our heroes and some others as powerful entities, goddesses, fairies and others. It is an unlicensed game, but it is a very good game and very well done (with many spells, summons, some good musics and many other things). There is even mention computers with the name of famous scientists that actually existed in real life, you see and know in these longplay . A very good and memorable RPG. The only thing I really miss is because they did not have a map, leaving the orientation very difficult.
