The very first title in the Castlevania series.
The Famicom Disk System version features a save system that is similar to what Americans got with the Legend of Zelda titles on NES, which was removed in the cartridge versions, including the JP re-release that adds an Easy mode.
As it's always the case with games like this, I played through two loops; the first loop with Holy Water equipped and the second with the Cross. All secret items were shown off as well.
