Player's Review
The Goonies is a 1986 platform game based on the film of the same name produced by Konami for the Family Computer. Konami also developed a completely different version for the MSX in Japan.
This is the Vs. UniSystem version that was released in North America to compensate the lack of a retail release in the region. Main difference is that it's harder than the original version: less time is given to complete the level and the player takes more damage than normal, even in the first loop. An unknown bug is shown at 46:26 where the exit does not open, requiring the player to intentionally lose a life for the bug to disappear.
Two loops played. For the second one I took the secret shortcut at level 3 which requires the Jump Shoes in order to get access. All diamonds and items collected in every level as well.
