Player's Review
The very first title in the series, unfortunately the Saturn got a port that is graphically worse compared to the original Arcade version.
I've decided to give the JP version a go since aside from the subtitles being in Japanese while retaining the English voices, it has a mission briefing message that was removed during the localization process. Played with Rogan 2 (much more powerful bullets but much harder since you only get two bullets), ended with around 63,000 points which was enough for the best ending in the game.
BONUS CONTENT:
31:29 — Added footage of the demo disc. Basically it's just two minutes of gameplay, featuring an early variant of the title screen as well.
34:56 — Sophie's playthrough, rescued all civilians but took a different route from Stage 2 onward. Shame that you still get Rogan's voiceovers during the entire round. To play as her or the Researcher: at the character selection screen (Saturn mode), hold L+R and press Up, Down, X, Y, Z in this order.
