Night Striker S

Player's Review
Night Striker S is a port of the Arcade original game Night Striker. Released in 1996, a year after the ps1 version. This is the best version of the game and like the other versions, only released in japan.
As well as a pretty much arcade perfect conversion, the Saturn version ads a CG FMV intro sequence and an extended Saturn mode which features an extra 6 levels with its own credits sequence. These extra levels are far more difficult than the main game and have you dodging planes/bombs at the same time as you are trying to avoid flying into low bridges. The boss fights at the end of each stage are usually extended as well with more incoming fire coming your way and more of them to kill.
It is a shame that the Arranged music in the Mega-CD version is not made available in the ps1 and Saturn version. I have pretty much followed the same paths as the ps1 version so that both can be compared.
A quick run down of the paths taken. Sadly no special ending for completing them all. The title screen is left idle for a few moments until the attract sequence plays before the actual game begins.

00:19:15 A > B > E > H > L > Ending Q
