Player's Review

I hope you guys still remember The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle, as it's hard as balls! (but it's still pretty awesome at the same time). But, little do you know that originally the game was called Roger Rabbit in Japan, because (again) Kemco didn't have the right to release Disney characters/products outside Japan like Capcom did, so they decided to change Roger Rabbit to Bugs Bunny (since they're both "wabbits" ).

The differences are, of course, the sprites changed to the characters involved in Roger Rabbit; the enemies and the animations are faster, which makes the game even harder; and finally, the color palettes on the sprites.

Every 8 levels or so, there will be a "now loading screen", which is... pretty usual for this system imo. However, you'll have to flip the disk over, in order to see the ending. As expected, there is also a cutscene that the US version does not have: the animation of Roger Rabbit rescuing Jessica Rabbit, then the usual The End screen. After that, it requires you to flip the disk back to (I think) see the final score you get before the game loops back to stage 1.

Not so much differences though, but it's still nice to know that originally The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle came from Roger Rabbit.
