Player's Review

This is the longplay of the game Ultraman - Towards The Future, a fighting game released in 1991 in Japan and the United States, produced and distributed by Bandai.

It is a game whose protagonist is the hero Ultraman, a character from the tokusatsu series created by Eiji Tsuburaya in the 1960s. This game is based on the Japanese-Australian series, Ultraman - Towards the Future, or Ultraman Great in Japan, this being the 10th series tokusatsu of the Ultra franchise and the first of this franchise produced outside of Japan, in partnership with Tsuburaya Productions and The South Australlian Film Corporation. The series ended production after 13 episodes and although plans for a second season were considered, the project did not go ahead. This series was launched in 1990 on LaserDisc in Japan and was then shown on television in the years 1992 in the United States and in 1995 in Japan.

This is a fighting game for just one player, where you control the hero Ultraman and need to defeat several monsters in a 1x1 fight. To destroy the monsters, it is necessary to hit the villains until his life bar appears FINISH and then finish with the strongest power, other powers cannot kill the monsters. The game has no cutscenes, has terrible gameplay, high difficulty and absolutely nothing is explained. It is an extremely mediocre game. The video was recorded in two playthroughs: one on Normal difficulty and the other on Expert difficulty, which is enabled through code (just hold the Select button and press the Start button on the game title screen). The Expert difficulty brings another end to the game.
Unfortunately this is one of the worst games of all time.
I hope you enjoy the video.
