"Home Field Advantage! - First the Desert Madman, then Jungle Drug Lord ... now a new evil challenges the Strike C.O.R.E in America! Ruthless media mogul and political maverick H.R. Malone secretly plans to destabilize the U.S. government. Crush this rebellion at all costs!"

The final game in the 16bit strike trilogy and this quality of this Snes conversion is one step forward, two steps back. It appears like the Genesis graphic assets are used this time round with no recolouring and dithering artifacts intact, which is good. However, the music sounds like a bad midi conversion and the gameplay suffers from massive performance issues. They really should have gone with Gremlin again for the conversion. A notable bug is that is doesn't look like the developers finished drawing the score tally screen and I don't think it is properly reporting the score tally.

In the longplay, i try to play each mission in order just to make it easier to follow along with the mission briefings. The game notably easier than the previous games and you don't have to stick to the mission order as much as the previous games. If entering a danger zone, enemies will shoot hard and fast but ordinarily the games ai doesn't instantly kill you like in Jungle strike. As long as you are moving, shots will usually fly right by. The game could have been completed quicker, but I end up clearing each mission in their entirety just because. Ammo, fuel and Armour are plentiful in each mission and missions are quite short making this the easiest game in the series.

A couple of mission feature a Blackhawk helicopter which comes in really handy when you need to rescue many people as it can hold 20 at at a time. It has no Hydra rockets and moves slowly not very suitable for combat. A few missions require going into a building on foot and go in like the terminator. Some strategy is needed to manage ammo as you don't want to be caught out when running for the exit.
