Ganbare Goemon 3: Shishijyuurokubei no Karakuri Manji Katame is a Ganbare Goemon series video game
released for the Super Famicom, and the third one for that console. It follows the protagonist Goemon as he
struggles to recover Wise Man, who has been imprisoned by the evil nun Bismaru far in the future. The game is
the first in the series in which the classical quartet (Goemon, Ebisumaru, Sasuke and Yae) are all playable,
the magical abilities of the four characters are introduced (Goemons Sudden Impact and Yaes Mermaid magic
for example) and also the first one in which Yae is a playable character in the main series.
This installment takes a radical departure from other games in the series, where they were arranged in levels
and worlds. In this case, the areas are totally interconnected, similar to The Legend of Zelda series,
including the use of certain items in order to pass certain inaccessible areas.
MORE COMMENT: This game now takes a trip into the complete bizarre as now time travel is involved and an evil
descendant of our great hero... this one is familar to those that have played Goemons Great Adventure for the
Nintendo 64 as they will spot Bismaru as this (also I reckon this is why she was in the game if you see the
ending.)
The good news is that this is the 100% ending with a secret final boss which is an enemy boss from the previous games who has an awesome theme and he is worth the challenge too for anyone who wants to play this.
