Player's Review

"The game of immense playability, the character of immense pliability. Forget about hacking, slaying, punching and kicking - its time to inflate, stretch and bounce your way through a very weird and wonderful world. The deranged wizard 'Dazzledaze is selling your fellow Putty people to hoards of kids around the cosmos packed as the finest Bubblegum, and business is booming. Take on the shape shifting form of Super Putty and thwart this evil crime. Rescue the robot guards and send them safely for repairs on Putty Moon and always stay one slithery step ahead of the wacky wizard's henchman. Absorb anything animal or vegetable to keep yourself pliable and mould into the form of your enemies. Use their powers to your advantage. Inflate your ego and stretch your imaginations. As Super Putty, be super slick."

SNES port of the Amiga game Putty released a year earlier in 1992. Silly Putty or later Super putty on the CD32 was released a year after in 1994.

I let the Joe90 theme play out before starting. The game is mostly the same as the original but the game has been enhanced with music during gameplay and parallax background.

The game feels more difficult to me than the Amiga version. Taking hits seems to take off more energy, and eating food returns less energy than in the Amiga version. The ending is a bit rushed, and missing the last second makes it loose its impact.
