We are still waiting on a suitable Amiga AGA emulator with robust recording features before tackling such games.

Player's Review
SNES was the only platform that saw a retail release of putty squad. The Amiga version sat in limbo for nealy 20 years before finally being released for free by System3. The mega drive port has been found to exist and may one day be dumped. The pc dos version was never completed so I doubt we will see more than the 4 level demo.
This version seems abit rushed in its presentation. Crappy options and password screens. The ending is abit naff where it loops a dozen or more times showing each enemy encountered during the game. The secret doors have the same graphic as the end of level doors. These were different in the Amiga demo. I feel that there should have been a few more abilities as after collecting 30-40 stars, you have the walking bombs which can carry you through the game. Even though the counter goes upto 99 stars before looping, you gain no extra abilities. Maybe the game was pushed out to release before it was truly completed?
