Tenchu: Dark Secret

Considered by most people to be the most obscure Tenchu game in the whole series. Also known as Tenchu: Dark Shadow in the Japanese region.

In the game, you control either Rikimaru or Ayame, each one with their own abilities, in order to complete a series of short missions that remind a lot of the Japanese exclusive 'Tenchu: Shinobi Hyakusen' on the PS1. As for the plot, both are in a mission to save Princess Shizu from Kagemasa and his evil troops. Completing a mission adds some points to an attribute named 'reconstruction', getting 100% rewards you with the 'Average Ninja' rank (don't know if there is a higher rank), while failing at a mission lowers this percentage.

The game also includes a small set of secret missions that are unlocked after picking up certain scrolls, which are also hidden and require killing a certain soldier in a level with a combo of four hits. This video shows all of them, including the Ghost Trial mission that is a boss rush.
