Sonic Rush

Sonic Rush was first announced as Sonic DS, back then in E3 2004, for the new upcoming, now legendary, Nintendo handheld. And it didn't disappoint.

In this part of the series, a new character from another dimension, Blaze The Cat, is in a search for the Sol Emeralds, which are scattered around Sonic's world and are tearing apart the two worlds. All of this is an evil plan from Eggman Nega, the main antagonist from her world. With the help of Cream she is destined to find them. At the same time Sonic and Tails are on the lookout for the Chaos Emeralds, and are also noticing something strange with their world's space-time continuum.

You can play either as Sonic or Blaze, and after you collect all the Chaos and Sol Emeralds, you get the Extra stage for the good ending and a conclusion of the story.

There is also an Time Attack mode in which you can replay the already done levels and rank accordingly. Also there is a 2 Player mode (if you have 2 DS handhelds) in which you can replay these levels.
