Snowboard Riot

Player's Review
Known in Japan as Board Warriors. This is an average snowboarding game that was released for the WiiWare in early 2009 and developed by the (now absorbed) Hudson Soft.
The game is pretty much inspired by Snowboard Kids and 1080 Snowboarding, both being N64 titles. For each race you get to choose between four characters, each with their own outfit (which can be customized) and player stats. The regular mode has two sub-modes, one where you use weapons/powerups and another where powerup capsules are replaced by speeding poles that are placed onto the track. Also featured is an online mode where you compete against other human players around the world; however this mode is no longer available since the Wii online service closed a long time ago.
There is no ending upon completion of all races, so after showing what is essential I go to the Gallery to show off additional info about the characters and their gear (most of them are recolors of other outfits but offering different stats).
00:43 - Course 1 (Edge)
05:06 - Course 2 (Lira)
09:03 - Course 3 (Ledrov)
12:46 - Course 4 (Angel-A)
16:58 - Course 1 re-raced in Stoic sub-mode
20:47 - Game manual (labeled as tutorial)
23:23 - Gallery
