'MANY AGES AGO... The Earth was populated by beings that lived in peace and harmony until a fearsome scientist named IMBU and his henchmen arrived to steal earth's energy, capture all the inhabitants and lock them up in crystal cells. Miraculously, three creatures escaped: BAU, BAM and BOM. They became Gem Smashers, traveling the world to spring, spin, and smash the crystal cells where their friends are imprisoned. It's up to you to help our little heroes survive! 3 different playable characters, each with its unique speed, bounce and style.
* STORY MODE: 8 different worlds to play with over 100 levels. Overcome the levels and defeat the bosses.
* BATTLE MODE: Challenge your friends, see who truly has mastered the game.'
Basically a remake of the original GBA version, with the addition of a pointless 4-star ranking system, plus that the extra challenge mode was removed, at least in this release, as the 3DS version retains it but under another name (and unlocked upon completion by the way). In the video I made an effort to get a full star rank in each sub-area except for two of them, probably due to a bug despite getting a considerably high score at the end of those. I also found all hidden keys, leading to secret stages, see timecodes for reference. After credits I attached a small showcase of the other two characters, as well as the completed artwork gallery. Speaking of unlockable stuff, just creating a new save file with each of them unlocks three pieces of artwork, the rest are unlocked through the main run.
