Bob the Builder: Festival of Fun
|
Player's Review
"It's a very special day in Sunflower Valley! Can you help Bob and the Can-Do Crew get the summer festival started? Yes, you can!
Use the unique Wii technology to help your favourite characters pick up rubbish, blow away leaves and mix cement in preparation for the big event!
All the characters from the Bob the Builder series including Dizzy, Spud, Pilchard, Lofty and of course Bob the Builder himself!
Many hands make light work! All ages can play together in the exciting Co-Operative mode."
Based on the children TV show. The game is basically a set of relatively straightforward minigames that seem to follow a particular plot, which is making preparations for the festival. Most of the controls at least in this version are motion based, using your Wii Remote to perform certain actions. Some of the minigames are reworked versions of the original PS2 release (considering the two year gap between the two) and all of them include a short cutscene right at the start of each. My thoughts about this game? Just a simple shovelware title aimed at young kids as the game is pretty much easy to complete, and by the way, there is no credits roll which is a shame.
