Player's Review
[MEME-Y!] action game by Animation Magic. Remastered by one (1) "Dopply". He used this game as game dev practice (and possibly inspiration) to develop Arzette (a dope game btw. no sarcasm).
Follow Zelda as he saves Koradai because he was bored.
Gameplay involves going to an area, going left and right (like Zelda II), and whack things with your smart sword to pick, from baddies to items. Controls can be a bit jank at times. For example, the button to interact with doors is also the menu button (hold down and press the interact-door button). Doors override menus! At least there's one good thing about the remaster: there's a remastered mode that adds a LOT of QoL stuff, like getting items by walking into them instead of stabbing them and the interact-door button does not conflict with opening the menu. Another is that there's something of a "help me!" function that gives you a bit of an idea of how to progress the game. Game still a bit bunk and meme-y though
This longplay sword-pokes the game while viewing as many scenes as possible while getting every goodie on non-remastered mode because I live for the jank! Couple of deaths here and there because what are invuln frames.
