"PENNY RACERS In for a penny... in for a Pounding!
If you're looking for fast, furious and intense multi-player racing then you are guaranteed to get your money's worth from Penny Racers. Between 1 & 4 players compete in split-screen racing mayhem through millions* of testing racecourses. Chose from over a dozen diverse vehicles, from sleek sports cars to garbage trucks, and bolt on nearly 100 upgrades including weapons, engines, tyres, brakes, steering and armour enhancements. Plus you can chose between swapping upgrades or cannibalising your opponents. We said this game was fun, we never said it was fair. In fact, your deviousness will be limited only by your imagination.
*Available via the unique Penny Racers' track editor feature."

A deceptively simple kart style racer that isn't as fun to play as it should be due to some relentless cpu opponents. You can be the fastest car in the game but getting hit by a weapon can stop you dead and it can take a while to get going again but it sure does feel good when it goes your way. Overall the game is quite short with four challenging leagues consisting of nine races of three laps each. You only need to be in the top three for each race to count as a win and winning them all unlocks the next championship.

To aid in your quest of 'world's greatest penny racer; upon winning a race you are given the opportunity to steal parts from other racers in order to upgrade your car and make life easier. Losing a race means you can have parts taken from your car. You can complete a race as many times as you like so it is a good idea to farm/grind the best of car parts offered in the slower championships before moving onto the next.

Before each race you can setup your car how you want with parts earned up to a championship specific point value. you cant be super OP until the final class AA championship. There are loads of parts to choose from to customise the look and performance of your vehicle. There also weapons that can be mounter for controlling the opposition but generally the best weapon is the turbo boost at least until the H laser. The controls can take some getting used to as they are fairly sensitive and the car slides out a lot until you get high suspension and tire versions.

The longplay goes through all four championships to eventually reach the end and roll the credits. A long the way I grind some races in order to collect all extra car and weapon parts needed to unlock all the hidden car parts. These extra parts make you OP but by now means needed to complete the game. All hidden parts can only be found in Class A. You can only collect one item at a time so some track replay is needed.

I have uploaded two versions of the video. The main/short versions is like an ordinary playthrough showing all levels until the end (more suited for ytube). The long version contains the whole run including the grinding so you can see how long it takes to get all the extras. You will see Alpine a lot due to being a short track and easy to grind parts on. There is still plenty of items to grind for at the end of the game but not needed for the longplay. The tracks are all the same in each championship so I have just time stamped each track once where the unlocks happen.
