Player's Review

This is japanese version of Kula World.

I recorded longplay for this one to show differences between PAL (Kula World) and NTSC-J (KulaQuest) versions.

There are a lot of differences:
- KulaQuest has "Lesson mode", which is presented by one level; there are many things on this level player can meet in regular game;
- no "Turn delay" option in KulaQuest, so control might be a little different if you are using free rotating camera in PAL/NTSC-U version;
- unique sounds when you finish the levels;
- in KulaQuest after finishing a level in main mode (a.k.a. Arcade) the game shows the percentage of completion;
- KulaQuest has so-called "Ball designer mode" where player can choose the ball for new world and change its colors;
- there is additional text in "Demo mode" in KulaQuest (unfortunately I don't know Japanese, so I can't translate it into English);
- bonus levels are darker in KulaQuest;
- some pick ups was replaced, "unreachable" coins was removed in KulaQuest;
- in japanese version you can get access to all 10 hidden levels unlike PAL/NTSC-U version;
- new blocks textures and new background in world 8 presented in KulaQuest (see screenshot above); I paused the game at 01:43:23 to show it;
- new FMVs after beating main mode and "Final";
- you can not see, but in japanese version you must press "X" button every time to jump over few blocks at the time; in PAL/NTSC-U you can just hold down button for it;
- no fruit in level 153 in japanese version;
- no buggy texture, no fruit in last bonus level in main mode;
- no extra points for hourglass bonus in japanese version;
- different exit sign in PAL/NTSC-U and NTSC-J versions;
- no moving platform on hidden level 6 in KulaQuest.

May be it's not all.
