Player's Review

"The Mighty Jabba hopes that you will die honourably. Total vehicular mayhem, special attacks and four game modes including tournament and high stakes. Winner takes all in 8 intense arenas with over 10 star wars vehicles to choose from. Blast your way to victory with an arsenal that includes laser cannons, protos torpedoes and concussion missiles."

From the same team that brought us the excellent Vigilante8 series comes this stinker of a cash grab game that nobody talks about or will admit exists that is set in the Star Wars universe based around vehicular combat.

The game doesn't look bad, it's got some good detailed textures and models but it's not much fun to play. Without any iconic vehicles to play as, it gets old quick. Maybe a space combat game would have been far better! The controls can make the game a bit of a chore as well with some vehicles feeling very clunky to control but thankfully those vehicles are stronger too so you can pretty much just stand still and blast other vehicles around you. It's a very small game when you look at its content as a whole.

In this longplay, I play through Tournament mode first. I play through each character which consists of four rounds and the main goal is to end on more than 10,000 credits as a reward. This goes onto unlock other characters to play. If an Ultimate victory is achieved then a good ending video is rewarded. These are very short and don't mean much. Perhaps there was not enough room on the disc to fit longer movies. Well, there would be more if the games audio wasn't classic cdda red book audio. You wouldn't think this is a game released in the year 2000.

There is no overall ending for completing all tournaments but we do get three more characters to play as. No point in tournament mode though as they don't have any story or rewards. Instead I show the last three characters in the remaining game modes. But first I show each characters story and losing video.
