Rockman 3: Dr. Wily no Saigo!?
REPLACEMENT LONGPLAY
|
Player's Review
Platformer by Capcom. Part of a re-release...port...thing...called "Complete Works".
Follow a blue robot boy [yet AGAIN!] as he commits robot-on-robot violence [YET AGAIN!] to stop an evil scientist! [YET AGAIN!] Joining him is a doggo! Somewhere in all of this, a red robot sometimes appear to duke it out.
A decent yet difficult Mega Man game! Same as before: we have traversing a stage, shooting the bad robots, jumping over pits (that may or may not have an enemy that will jumpscare you), and a boss battle at the end. Objective is to find the EASIEST boss and work your way through the rest of the bosses while trying to find weakness which you may or may not have! Building on 2's Items, we have Rush to traverse obstacles. New to the Complete Works version is adjustable difficulty, quick switching of weapons with the top buttons, a map to see general layout of stages, and a Navi mode where pressing Select will give you a hint.
This longplay no-skills the game on Original mode on Normal and Navi mode on Hard with some arranged music while using a decent amount of special weapons but mostly Shadow Blade because it is a good weapon overall. Hard just straight-up disables enemy drops and items, making weapon energy management more important and some areas require tech to get through (just Needle Man Doc Robot stage where you HAVE to jump on the Jet to get past the mandatory Jet section). While I was at it, I throw in Boss Attack at the last minute. Had to use a code to unlock it (unlock normally by completing Navi mode on Normal).
