Player's Review
This was one of the last games released on the playstation and is based upon the Worlds scariest police chases tv series and is narrated by John Bunnell. Being a late game on the original playstation the game engine is well developed with some nice weather and reflection effects and overall nice looking ps1 game. The game could probably have done with dramatic chase music though.
I have played the full pursuit mode which takes place over 20 missions. Each mission has hidden objectives such as timers, damage costs and accuracy targets to meet in order to gain a commendation for that mission. I get all of these and they unlock bonus items in the Free Roam mode. I show an Action replay of the final mission just to show how those look.
Free Roam mode (Not Shown) lets you cruise around the whole city allowing you to chase down/gun down as many criminals as you can before you break your vehicle. arrests are much faster than in mission mode. There is no real goal, but you can mess about with any bonus items you may have picked up in this mode.
