We are still waiting on a suitable Amiga AGA emulator with robust recording features before tackling such games.

Player's Review
Sequel/Remake or Reimagining of the jaguars Tempest 2000 for the PlayStation cunningly called Tempest X3 (3000), not to be confused with Tempest 3000 for the Nuon dvd player. This game was not developed by the original developer of t2K (Jeff Minter) and so certain game elements may nor act how they were original implemented in t2k. The game is long. The original was a long and difficult game, with 100 levels but High Voltage Software thought it would be a good idea to add 28 more levels and those last 28 levels can be maddeningly difficult. After about 80 levels the Warp power ups stop dropping and its a long slog to the end. The power ups them selves follow a fixed pattern of Laser weapon, 2000 points then jump ability. Once jump is obtained its usually an easy ride to the next level ...but not always. Thankfully extra lives are given out like candy in this game so even though on some levels, especially later levels where I die a lot, I have plenty of lives to keep going. I had one hell of a migraine after finishing with this game.
Once the game is complete I enter a cheat mode to enable some more options. I have a quick play of Tempest 3X again show Trippy mode up to the first warp then I die and go back to the menu. I then Show a quick play of Tempest 2000 mode and end it with another trip. I show the hidden music track on the second and third stage of this mode. I could not get the cheat to work where I can force a t2k song to play and I tried many button combinations in case it was a misprint.
