Player's Review
Nintendo World Cup is a soccer video game for the NES and Game Boy, developed by Technos Japan and released in 1990. It is a localization of Nekketsu High School Dodgeball Club: Soccer Hen ( "Hot-Blooded High School Dodge Ball Club: Soccer Edition" ), or Nekketsu Koukou Soccer-bu: World Cup for the Game Boy version, the fourth Kunio-kun game released for the Family Computer. Ports for the PC Engine and Mega Drive were also released in Japan.
Just like the for the localized NES version, the localized Game Boy version changes character sprites and plot, removing Kunio-kun and his friends from the game.
