Player's Review

RPG developed by Camelot.

Story involves going into a temple or something, disturbing something, and then setting out on a great adventure to stop some people from lighting some lighthouses. Game (or rather, the series) is prone to having awesome music (my picks would be the World Map, Venus Lighthouse, Saturos Boss Fight). If it matters: the composer is Motoi Sakuraba (if a game is tri-Ace or Camelot, 9 times out of 10, he is the composer)

Gameplay is the ol' turn-based RPG thing. There is also a pretty deep class system (depending on how you organize the Djinn).

As for what I do: I'm just playing through it. I do get all Djinn (I need all of them to even get into an optional dungeon in The Lost Age) and complete all sidequests? (there's not many). Near the end of the adventure (after Crossbone Island), I reset (hard reset) the game a lot to abuse the RNG to get random drops (this game's and TLA's RNG isn't "random".) RNG abuse on: killing Tempest Lizard via Crystal Rod's Drown, getting Kikuichimonji aka K-Sword, getting Aura Gloves, getting Blessed Mace, and getting the Feathered Robe. I also do a small sequence break. I'm suppose to go to Kolima forest, fight Tret, and then go to Imil and climb the Mercury Lighthouse. Since I didn't do that, I am pretty underleveled. However, it does save a trip. On the subject of underleveled, at Tobli, I am pretty much underleveled for the rest of the game (I only grinded in Mercury Lighthouse to learn Ragnarok and on Tempest Lizard for the final battle). After clearing Crossbone Isle, I RNG Abuse Tempest Lizard to level up to 32. At Tolbi, I got a bunch of items using the Lucky Medals (Assassin Blade comes to mind) and from the slots (Game Tickets are used. Items are mainly Running Shirts, Hyper Boots, and Quick Boots). I don't show any of these, hence the equipment checking. As for class setup: I switch around Djinn (always played the game with everyone in default class), but Garet almost always have Avoid available (inb4SacredFeathers). Isaac is usually always in default class (Ragnarok wrecks the hell out of everything). There are times where I stay in a menu too long due to arranging Djinn. On some fights, I spam Djinn in hopes of getting a Djinn kill (when defeated, they flash and let out another scream. Doing this nets more EXP and Coins as well as increasing drop rate. As mentioned, this game's RNG isn't "random" and no item is a "random drop".)

That instant kill against Toadonpa? I wasn't even expecting that to happen.
