Player's Review

"Three complete games starring game superstar Dizzy! Enjoy the thrill of an arcade action game, a puzzle game and a complete adventure game all in one pack!

Dizzy the Adventurer:
Here's Dizzy in an amazing magical quest packed with action, mystery, surprises and lots of new interesting characters. Escape from an underground cave and wake Daisy from the endless sleep caused by pricking her finger on a cursed spinning wheel. The spell can only be broken by a kiss from a Prince! A great sense of humour and brilliant fun! A superbly crafted cartoon adventure set in a magical kingdom! Brilliant graphics, music and a magical quality that will enchant players. "A magical quest to wake Daisy from her endless sleep!"

Go Dizzy Go!:
It's Dizzy and Daisy to the rescue in this zany arcade challenge. Zaks' treacherous worlds are jam packed with all sorts of nasties, Power-Ups and Special secrets! Take up the challenge in single mode or two player mode. Classic maze style game with 5 worlds each containing 5 levels. Superb graphics, funky music and exciting gameplay! "Dash around weird and wonderful worlds to free the yolkfolk!"

Panic Dizzy:
It's puzzling, challenging and mega playable! Play any of the Yolkfolk and challenge friends to a choice of 3 brilliant, original puzzle games. There's shape shifter, dizzy dice and picture puzzler to boggle your mind and blow your brain. Push and shoot the descending shapes in a race against time! Fantastic fun! "Put your brain & reflexes in to top gear for 3 original puzzle games!"

A collection of games released on the Game Gear in a single cart. It was never released on the Master System although a barely functional prototype exists for it. I believe it was also the last dizzy game to be developed by the Oliver Twins in collaboration with Codemasters.

I have played all 3 games although I didn't spend much time in Panic Dizzy as I didn't like it that much. It is a good and authentic dizzy collection for the ole game gear though.

00:00:00 Dizzy The Adventurer!. Pretty much a rehash of Prince of Yolkfolk.I collect the bread and potion at the end, but have no idea if these items are used anywhere. The game can be completed more quickly, as I didnt rush through the dialogue.

00:40:00 Go! Dizzy Go! . This is a rehash of Kwik Snax. After completing world 5, the game loops and plays world 5 again, this time with the controls reversed. After this it will say END and will loop world 5 in reverse again.

01:40:52 Panic Dizzy. Nothing like the Panic Dizzy game I remember on Spectrum. Instead we have a collection of Tetris style puzzle games. There are three mini games which I play through in order. I start with Shape Shifter which requires you to make horizontal lines of matching shapes. four needed to score but five or six will destroy more lines above. I play on low difficulty so as to have time to think else it will bush the blocks down too quick. I then play dizzy Dice. here you need to match the lines so that they go the same way, vertical, horizontal or diagonal. I play at high level for th big score multiplier which comes in handy if you want to unlock Zak's requiring a total of 30,000 points. I then use Zaks in the final picture puzzles which makes the pictures quite hard work. Using dizzy is probably also fine to see all pictures but lower difficulties not only requires less lines to manipulate but you also get less pictures.
