Player's Review

A fairly short space shooter with a scrolling background, hence the name of the game. Fairly short with only four levels but it can be quite a challenging game.

The background has no effect on gameplay other than distracting you and also hiding the msx sprites as the colours all blend together making them invisible which can become a problem with projectiles flying across the screen. levels one and three are a standard affair with just shooting all enemies on the screen. Two and Four however and much more difficult as you only have a guided missile as a weapon. While the missile is in flight, you can not move the ship although you can detonate the missile any time to destroy projectiles.

You also need a certain number of collected powerups to progress to the next level indicated by the powerup meter at the top of the screen. If you don't get enough, it's back tot he start of the level. Dying also returns you to the start as well as resetting power progress.
