"Dizzy-7 Redux Edition is a modern take on the classic adventure and puzzle game, Crystal Kingdom Dizzy. Set in a vibrant and colorful world, players guide Dizzy through various landscapes, solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles. The game retains its original charm while introducing new elements to engage players. Published by Dr. Bars in 2025, this edition offers a nostalgic journey with updated graphics and additional content. Players can explore diverse environments, from lush forests to mysterious waterfalls, all while interacting with familiar characters and uncovering secrets of the Crystal Kingdom."

This edition of the game is built on the work done on Wonderful dizzy. Compared to the original, most if not all the assets have been updated transforming the look of the game as well as the world map overall. Whilst the level solutions are mostly the same, the placement of objects has changed. The game is split into four mini adventures separated by passcodes making the game more bit sized and manageable compared with other dizzy games. I dont think there are quite as many screens as the original game making each level feel shorter overall or maybe the objects are just better placed making for less traveling back and forth.

Overall, its a nice update and due to all the extra gfx, music and cutscenes this one is 128k only. I;m not a big fan of the music which quickly gets annoying as the tunes are made up of short loops with no real rhythm to them, just a lot of fancy beeping that is so prevalent in modern day spectrum tunes. The game could have done with an original soundtrack by Alistair Brimble or David Whitaker with that distinctive codemasters sound.
