We are still waiting on a suitable Amiga AGA emulator with robust recording features before tackling such games.

Spectrum 48k
Captain Planet published by Mindscape, Developed by Nick Bruty and David Perry in 1991.
Just looking at the game you can tell its by the Nick and Dave duo that did fantastic things on the 48k Spectrum. but this is 1991, the 128k has been out 3-4 years at this point and this game takes no advantage of it at all and if you are paying ?15.99 to get the disk version you are going to be feeling pretty salty once you get the game loaded. Far to many 48k releases were made available on expensive floppy and not all great games either.
The game is not one of Nick & Daves best efforts with the blue background making some enemies hard to see. Only 3 levels, quite difficult as well if you just rush in. Still a small game though and that ending is just nonsense as if the devs though you would never get there. I play each level till the timer runs out trying to get as many points as I can hoping there was actually good ending but ..nothing. Had the game come out in 1986 it could have been forgiven and would have stood out against other games released at the time but not in 1991, seems like a cash grab to me.
