We are still waiting on a suitable Amiga AGA emulator with robust recording features before tackling such games.

U.N. Squadron released by US Gold in 1990
I'm not sure if this is a good or bad port for the spectrum given the spectrums limitations. It seems well presented and has a couple of different tunes which is rare on spectrum. But the monochrome gameplay while well detailed leaves an impression that it could be better. the dithering to simulate more colour is what makes it look poor in areas. The gamplay is fine though. Choose one of three planes with differing abilities and blast away through the levels requiring some air and ground shooting.
I've been wanting to record this for ages but various emus and tape images have caused problems with recording this game. but finally here it is. I would have liked to play the +3 version but could not find a disk image of it or if the disk version exists in physical form although world of spectrum says it was released.
I used the tzx image that is split between the two sides. There is another tape image called "UN Squadron (1990)(U.S Gold)[128K].tzx" which appears to be the +3 disk files placed into a tzx file and will always crash/stall the spectrum after mission 8.
Another oddity in emus is that the music is very low volume and almost inaudible. I have boosted the audio by 1000% for this video.
