We are still waiting on a suitable Amiga AGA emulator with robust recording features before tackling such games.

"After being summoned from the dead by Zeus, shape-shift into various beasts and fight off hordes of demons to rescue the captured Athena from the clutches of Neff. The 3DS conversion of Altered Beast is based on Mega-Drive game. This is the eShop stand alone release. In the US/EU the game was also included as part of the SEGA 3D Classics Collection, also known as SEGA Reprint Archives (セガ3D復刻アーカイブス2, Sega 3D Fukkoku Ākaibusu 2 in Japan.
The 3DS game includes both the international and Japanese releases of the game with the only notable difference being the title screen. All the original Mega Drive cheats will work in this version. It is also possible to set the game to allow a random transformation for tackling the bosses in new ways. Music can be rendered like the original mega drive or the megadrive2. A crt like effect is also available.
In the longplay I play through each of the difficulty levels as the game loops after the final stage with no ultimate ending. As each loop starts I will change a setting to show the game in a different setting offered by the 3ds game.
