Player's Review
A Load Runner clone. Was gonna do a bunch of different clones, starting with the main "LodeRunner" title, but it sucked ass and I couldn't force myself to play through it. I have like 6+ different Lode Runner clones for the Amiga, and all of them were better than "LodeRunner". I wanna do them all, so at least did one of them. First version I downloaded of "BloadRunner" only had 20 levels, and in the "instructions" file on the disk it said "This game is NOT shareware. I will send a version out with more screens to anyone who sends me a small gift", so sounds like there could be one with more levels. Latest version I found was 1.7, which had 38 level files on the disk. Level 35 is not complete so it lacks a spawn point for the player etc, so after that loaded it exited to WB, where I showed the contents of the instructions file, then moved on to show the last 3 levels. Level 37 doesn't seem to be finished either as I couldn't find a way to reach the other coins, looks like a ladder or more were missing. Level 38 (last level) was just a short and easy maze. The game has no ending.
The "correct" way to the coins on the maze level is of course to the left, but I went right so I would have to do some mining to get there safely, or the level would last even shorter.
