'In the first episode, The Door of Time and in-game also referred to as Gateways in Time, Max is giving a ring to his girlfriend Jessica for her birthday when the Skunks come and kidnap her, presumably because of something in the ring that attracts their interest. They take Jessica into the prehistoric past. Max visits his friend Lucas, who luckily has just invented a time machine in the shape of a motorcycle. Max takes the time machine to the past to try to rescue Jessica.'
