Whizz had multiple Amiga releases including the A500 class version, A1200 AGA version , CD32 as well as the Pack in game played here for the A1200. The only notable difference is the initial loading screen which is just text here and the biggest difference between the A1200 and A500 versions is that the A500 game has no backgrounds.

The game is quite short but feels longer than it actually is as you can spend a while in each level. There are no difficulty options so the game is what it is and thankfully not overly difficult. The game has an isometric layout and the biggest challenge is the controls which never seem to match up with where you want to go as well as being very slippy making it to easy to overshoot where you want to land. Gameplay involves going around the level and finding the buttons to launch the rockets before heading to the finish line. There can be multiple routes to reach a particular point and sometimes there are destructible walls in the way and you need to find the box that can help you through that wall. (ice/wood/stone/metal). Some doors or warps require keys or another special item. You are against the clock but there are plenty of timers spread around the level to collect you boost the remaining time. Spinning into bad guys (except the big white ones) will destroy them and they will drop a positive or negative energy drop. Collect the red ones to refill energy and destroy the chequered ones.

Overall this is an average game. I don't think I would have been tempted to buy it but it was an alright pack in game. Commodore marketing seemed to have a thing for games by Flair Software. The game is well presented with nice gfx as well music+sfx which seems to be a rare thing. It is a bit short though and I kind of get the feeling the developers ran out of time or interest near the end as the levels become quite linier compared to the maze like levels earlier in the game and as previously mentioned quite short overall. Still, the art work remains top notch throughout.
