"THE ULTIMATE FRUIT MACHINE SIMULATOR! Skill and Repeat Chances galore, Shuffles, Free Spins, Hyper-Nudges, Hidden Fortune, Mega-Trek, Turbo-Skill, Double & Treble Fruiter, Winner-Spinner, 4 Coin Boxes with Coin Box Super Scanner and Skill-Coins, and £100 Jackpot Race!"

Another fruit machine simulator. This time the Amstrad/Spectrum and C64 games all appear to be the same game. I haven't played the other versions to compare against but I can say for sure that the C64 game is broken and likely sucks against the other versions.

The sequel offers more features and looks better overall. But all the same problems of the original game apply here. A lot of the flashing boxes are just for show, you can not actually land on them. On the Bonus select screen for example, 10 options could be flashing away, you press on button 5 but it will still cycle through before landing on 1. There are many instances of that.

The actual reels are deceptive as well with them not even doing a full spin sometimes landing on fruit only 2 away. try as I might, I could not land on the £100 jackpot. Even slowing game to 20%, it would auto drop to a lower value. On the coin builder it was impossible to land on £3 as it would just continue to cycle round until it got to 1. Spelling Mega-Trek often does nothing, its like the game doesn't follow it's own rules.

Overall then, the C64 game like the previous version is again crap but it at least looks the part this time. I longplay until I think I've shown all that it will let me see and then cash out.
