Player's Review

"Just like the real thing! 4 wheel spins, handbrake turns and REAL POWER DRIFTS! Competition rally racing on desert, tarmac, autobahns and thru rainforests! WOW!!! Collect the extra add-ons - TURBOS, STICKY WHEELS, ROO-BAR BUMPERS - but watch out! Full car to car contact is allowed - FIGHT for the racing line or get TOTALLED!!!"

Released as a £2.99 budget game this one is a multiload which is rare from Codemasters. C64 game by Gavin Raeburn but it does not appear to be a numbered Gaxx game. The game is endless and loops as expected.

Top down super sprint style game but not as slick as ..er ..slicks! There are five tracks and the objective is to win claiming most points to take into the next round. Points can also be gained by hitting other cars and lost by going over oil. You are constantly using fuel, water and oil and need to keep this topped up. They all drain quickly, mostly the fuel so the first upgrade should be an emergency tank of fuel. on each lap you can enter the pit stop to buy consumables and upgrades. A bumper can help you collide with other cars without stalling your own. Turbo is expensive and the points are better spent on fuel. Using the turbo absorbs any available points.

Control takes a little adjusting to. You just need to push the direction you want to drive in to make the car move there. Overall, not the greatest game which is maybe more fun in two player.
