We are still waiting on a suitable Amiga AGA emulator with robust recording features before tackling such games.

"In Big Fat Hairy Deal you play the part of our lasagne loving friend GARFIELD, off in search of his beloved Arlene who has been captured and imprisoned in the City Pound. This officially licensed home computer game also features your other favourite characters Jon, Nermal, and of course Odie, and is a must for computer game playing GARFIELD fans everywhere."
This is probably one game many C64 owners remember playing. The game is very short when you know what you are doing but there are enough screens and random items that would have left many players just wandering around aimlessly whilst listing to the games music and kicking Odie around.
The game has a weird energy mechanic where you lose the energy to stay awake whilst moving around as well as getting hungry all the time. If either of these bars hit zero, its game over as you fall asleep. One very important thing to keep in mind is that should your hunger bar hit the red zone and item you are carrying will be consumed! This can cause problems if it's an item you need to proceed in the game. There is plenty of food about which ca be consumed at any time to keep your energy up. You can also drink Jon's coffee to wake you right up.
In the longplay I do stray off the path a bit to show a few screens and how they link up as well as getting a few extra points along the way.

Final Note: There is a second game called Garfields Winter Tail but due to a game breaking bug in level 2, the C64 version cannot be completed.
