Player's Review

"ZAXXON for the Commodore 64, from Synsoft Incredible 3-D graphics, a diagonally scrolling screen and super sound effects combine to put you in the cockpit of a heavily armed spacecraft. Your ultimate mission - destruction of the deadly ZAXXON robot. First, an all-out attack on the enemy's floating fortress, destroying gun emplacements, fuel tanks and radar towers. It takes quick reflexes and a very steady hand to dodge the force field barriers, missiles and anti-aircraft fire. Then it's on to a deep-space dogfight with waves of enemy fighters before you finally reach ZAXXON...and his lethal homing missiles."

Home conversion of Sega arcade game Zaxxon. The game is made up of three stages with the goal of destroying the Zaxxon boss at the end of the level. The game then starts over with higher difficulty. I may have dragged this one out to long showing 12 rounds although there is nothing new to see after round 4. The game is endless. Fuel runs out pretty quick after round six if you dare to miss destroying one.
